Office Manager –  nothing to report.

Treasurer – Jeannie billed out for 123 swimmers; Greg has 128.  This is the lowest enrollment in 5 years.  $8,000 shortfall at this time; projects that we will deficit $3,400 by August 31st.  Budget is $15,000 for the CAT-a-thon, but with fewer swimmers may be hard to reach that goal.

Press Liaison: No report.

Coaches:
Rick -  Visited Hoover school Tuesday.  5-8 kids wanted more info in each of the 3 classes.  Open house coming up April 28th – wear CAT t-shirts.
Greg, Erin, and Caleb need raises: $1/hour.  Jeannie said that that was in the budget.
Hawaii trip plans finalized: 22 swimmers, 4 chaperones and the Guenther family.  2 nights at Bellows, rest of the time with Rick’s family.
Junior meet – kids were well-behaved, they broke every girls’ team record.  800 free relay got 11th place.
Taking 5 seniors to the Santa Clara invite in May.

Greg –  Has the trophy league meets set up; in May with Philomath; Lincoln City in June, thought it’d be fun to spend the rest of the day at the beach; another meet in July.  48 kids entered in Albany meet.

Masters Representative no report

Pool Director – James said that the “April pools” day on the 5th went well.  There was water safety/recreational opportunities.  211 people, up from 167 last year.  Inflatable teeter-totter popular, as was the penny toss.
Lifeguard training classes going well.
Memorial Day will be opening the outdoor pool.  $1 admission on that day.
On track for the Operations Management Software so that registering can be done on-line.
Connie’s in the new office.  Leaves Mike, Nathan, and Rhonda in the bubble.
Outdoor pool covers need to be replaced.  Will cost $6,000 to replace.  OSU girls will donate $2,000; working on Parks/Rec to donate $2,000; asking that CAT donate the other $2,000.  Talked about fronting the $2,000 that would come from Parks/Rec.  Voted on and approved the fronting of the money and the payment from CAT.  James will work directly with Jeannie on the fronted money.

Meet Director – Kristin said that Koo Points wants to set up a booth at the CAT open and would like to advertise in the heat sheet.  Approval was given for the advertising; not for having a booth as it might create competition/bad feelings with JD Pence.

Fundraising – no report

Housekeeping Items – no housekeeping items

Open Discussion –  CAT-a-thon – Alan will send out an official letter explaining the importance of raising a lot of money for this fundraiser.  Discussed whether Rhonda could put together the stats as to which swim group brought in the most money.
CAT prowl/Awards banquet update – everything is moving along well.

Old Business – no report

New Business – One parent brought up the cost of swimmer’s dues during post regular season.  It was higher than before as the swimmer is now in a more advanced level.
Another parent was concerned about the $60 charge for not participating in the 11-14 meet.  Would like to work off the commitment time.  Alan said he would talk to her directly.
Carol will take care of the record board.

The meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
